The fusion of high-performance sensorless brushless motors and high-precision spindles enables high-dimensional precision machining. Sphida has adopted highly durable ceramic bearings and, in addition, has achieved an extension of the pitch between bearings through an integrated spindle case structure, significantly improving the balance of radial load distribution on the bearings during machining. This has doubled the bearing life, which was a critical issue for motor spindles, compared to conventional products.
